I recently learned that my mouth could have got me in a lot of trouble. I’m glad it didn’t though. We all gossip/ have gossiped about people and their lives. Some might say it’s normal to gossip -_- Okay. If you really think do you do you. As a christian I/we/you should not be gossiping. Even if you’re not a christian it’s not right to gossip.

 For those who don’t know the meaning of gossip here it is: casual or unconstrained conversation or reports about other people, typically involving details that are not confirmed as being true. Since I want to stop gossiping I will stop. If it’s not going to edify the person there’s no reason to say it. If what I’m thinking doesn’t encourage, uplift, inspire someone then it’s crap.

 Bible Verses I looked up:

Psalm 19:14- ” May these words of my mouth and thus meditation of my heart  be pleasing in your sight LORD, my rock my Redeemer “

Psalm 141:3- ” Set a guard over my mouth, LORD, keep watch over the door of my lips”

Ephesians 4:29- ” Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen “
